1. Definitions
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:
- Account: A unique account created for a User to access the Service or parts of the Service.
- Company: Refers to Saint-Augustin SA (referred to as “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our”).
- Cookies: Small files that are placed on the User device, when the User is using a browser.
- Device: Any device that can access the Service such as a computer, mobile device or a digital tablet.
- MobileApp: The mobile software provided by the Company, named My Church, downloadable and usable by a User on any electronic device.

- Service: All features available inside the MobileApp or the WebPlatform or both.
- Service Provider: Any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Company. It refers to third-party companies or individuals employed by the Company to facilitate the Service, to provide the Service on behalf of the Company, to perform services related to the Service or to assist the Company in analysing how the Service is used.
- Usage Data: Data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself.
- User: (referred to as either “the User”, “You” or “Your” in this Agreement) refer to the individual accessing or using the Service.
- WebPlatform: The online software provided by the Company, usable online through a browser by a User on any electronic device, named My Church

As the data controller, Saint-Augustin SA determines the purposes and means of processing your personal data and ensures compliance with applicable laws.

For example, you may unsubscribe from our parish at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe button in the Platform.
You also have the right to decide what will happen to your personal data after your death.

Please note that some of your personal data is required to use our services. For example, we need your email address to allow you to access your customer account. If you delete this type of data, you will not be able to use these services.
9. Data Security
The Company has implemented technical and organisational measures for the security, integrity, authenticity and confidentiality of your Personal data. The Company uses networks protected by firewalls, pseudonymization, encryption and passwords.
The security measures implemented on mychurch are designed to prevent the loss, misuse and alteration of data. These include data backup, installation of anti-virus and other protection software, User access control, password hashing, etc.
We conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users as required by law and take immediate steps to mitigate the impact.
But remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While the Company strives to use acceptable solutions means to protect User Personal Data, the Company cannot guarantee its absolute security.
10. About Children
Our Services are not intended for children, which we consider to be individuals that are 13 years of age or under, or the age of privacy consent in your jurisdiction.
We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a child without parental consent, we will delete such information promptly.

A cookie records your visit to a web platform. The file may be installed and/or saved on your device when you view a web platform using your browser.
Cookies are used to identify the device on which it is saved for the period of validity of the cookie and send information back to the web platform that installed the cookie.
